• Sleep no less than seven to eight hours per night. Too little sleep or broken sleep (late shifts) cause severe physical stress making it difficult to clear acne.
• Use only Cheer-Free liquid or All -Free and all clear liquid detergents and no fabric softeners at all, especially those sheets used in dryer.
• Drink more water....Lots more.
• Reduce stress... Do whatever it takes.
• Avoid iodides in the diet such as salty snacks, fast foods, processed foods, kelp, iodized salt. Shrimp, sole, red snapper and shark are low in iodide. Kelp, squid and crab are hight in diodide. Avoid onions, asparagus, wheat germ and vegetables grown in iodide laden soil such as California and Florida. Avoid excessive dairy products as iodides have been added to cowlick and finds its way into milk.
• Get regular skin care treatments with Glycolic, Salicylic and Enzymes to exfoliate the skin and allow acne products to penetrate better. This will make your extractions much easier.
• From many years of experience I have noticed that about 80% of acne suferrers have indigestion problems. Eat more fiber, drink more fluids.
• Ice your breakouts twice a day to greatly reduce inflamation

Be aware of "GOOD"and "BAD" ingredients in skin care products. Watch for in terms comedogenicity (clogging pores) and irritation levels. Ingredients are graded below on a scale of 0 to 5, the 0 signifying harmless, non comedogenic and/or non irritating. You may want to refer to it in renewing new products.
