Broken Capillaries  are classified in medical terminology as "telangiectasias." There are other names associated with Broken Capillaries as Spider Veins and Vascular Blemishes. There’s also the cosmetic term, "couperose skin."  Broken Capillaries under the eye or around on the side of the nose, chin, cheeks as well as the neck or upper chest can be very easily removed from your skin.

People with fair skin have a higher incidence of telangectasia while more olive complexions have few problems. Age, hormones, too much sun exposure, alcohol (especially red wine consumption) and other predisposing medical conditions are all possible causes. Trauma to the skin (such as too much friction, to vigorous scrubbing),can also cause broken capillaries. All broken capillaries can be removed easly and permanently with the simple method of coagulation. 

We use Vascu-Touch Hi Frequency and Galvanic Currents to remove Broken Capillaries.The surface of the skin is cleansed and prepped. A fine-tipped, sterile disposable probe is placed on the surface of Broken Capillaries. Low-level RF and DC current is passed through the probe to the Broken Capillaries. The blood in the tiny vessel is clotted or coagulated and stops flowing. The vessel is naturally absorbed into the surrounding tissue and typically disappears within three-to-five days.

You need to pay attention not to disturb the treated area for the next few days. Avoid exfoliants (such as Glycolic, Retin-A, Vitamin C, scrubs etc.), excess of alcohol, sunburn, windburn or too much heat (no sauna, hot shower).  The next day, you will develop a tiny dark spot (scab). This is normal and is a good sign that the Broken Capillaries were properly treated.
